Original Oil Painting – Petit Views Collection

The first of my Petit Views collection, this miniature landscape was inspired by a trip my husband and I took to the stunning red rock vistas of St. George, Utah. Meant for resting on shelves, the painting features a hand-gilded edge, offering a finished look without the need for framing.

This piece, and others in the collection, were born from a desire to loosely and freely capture the beauty of landscapes using impressionistic brush strokes. I selectively chose color palettes that would convey an atmosphere of peace and joy, because we could all use a little more of those.
