Part of my Petit Views collection, this miniature landscape is inspired by the rural Payson, Utah, where we live. Our home is nestled within beautiful farm fields just below West Mountain. Meant for resting on shelves, the painting features a hand-gilded edge, offering a finished look without the need for framing.

This piece, and others in the collection, were born from a desire to loosely and freely capture the beauty of landscapes using impressionistic brush strokes. I selectively chose color palettes that would convey an atmosphere of peace and joy, because we could all use a little more of those.
